What Is an RSA? Vape, HNB and Cigarette Compared
RSA stands for Responsive Smoke Alternative. It's MYRO's own term, not an industry category, and it describes what SPACE does: heat a King Size you bought yourself, with a Reload underneath it adding an undertone. Compare that with the three familiar options. A cigarette burns tobacco. An HNB device heats the maker's own tobacco sticks. A vape heats e-liquid and contains no tobacco at all.

The four differ on one thing: what actually goes into the device, and who sells it to you. UK tax law splits them the same way. HMRC runs separate duty categories for cigarettes, for tobacco for heating, and, from 1 October 2026, for vaping liquid.

What's the difference between an RSA and HNB?
You supply the tobacco. An HNB device only works with sticks made by the same brand, so switching brands means switching sticks. SPACE takes a King Size you buy yourself, and RSA adjusts the heating across seven modes. Two are unlocked from the start: All in Once and Awaken.
